How to survive the quarantine

Let's be honest, the first week of this quarantine has been fun. Spending time with family, binge watching your favourite shows or movies, and reading that book you never had the time to pick up and actually read. Yet, now its starting to sink in that this will be away,

and some of us might be getting stir crazy.


Here are some tips to help you find ways to occupy your time in a MEANINGFUL and PRODUCTIVE way:


1. Self-reflect and understand what you need to work on. Do you need to organize the basement? Start playing the piano again? Start painting for creative expression? Try and find a balance between doing things for OTHERS and YOURSELF. This is a perfect time to work on self-growth and healthy well-being.


2. Create GOALS. Set goals for the week (overall goal you want to accomplish) and daily goals (goals to reach your weekly goal). Again, try and balance between "chore" goals and self-exploration goals.


3. Simplicity is key. Don'y stress yourself out by planning to do fifty things in one week. Start small and progressively increase the load. The idea is to plan one goal a day and actually follow through with it. Don't push it off to tomorrow.
